Think of your elevator pitch, so it's a quick summary of your business to get the investors interested. This class is business ownership, so the students actually create their own business. It's part of their year long project. Our product is chamoy sweets. We do chamoy covered candies. We're actually selling Japanese snacks alongside Japanese artworks. Our business is called soccer retreats. They start off the year with finding a need in the community and trying to figure out a way that they could meet the need and through brainstorming. And creativity and innovation. They come up with business ideas, they pitch their business ideas on Pioneer Pitch Day. They find out, get feedback on their businesses, adjust it, and then they launch their businesses on Market Expo. This class has given me so many tools. It's given me budgeting that creativity, that thinking outside the box, pushing me past my limits. And also it's giving me a good sense of time management as well. Having all the due dates and having to be ready for all of this and especially Market Day coming up, I feel like that's going to give me that. To boost having to deal with it all in person, that actually teaches you some good things about the real world and stuff to be expect from when you're going into a business and making a business. Another thing that makes it unique is that they're able to learn something in the class and then apply it to their business. For example, we're talking about slogans and logos and different strategies businesses use, and at the same time, they're creating these items for their business. I feel like it's affected my future in a way that's positive. It's made me learn a lot, and it's made me realize that not all failures are negative.
