I love this. But why didn't you end with "They just had no clue what was going on." It was such a golden opportunity to insert your brand.

So good. If I had a dollar for every time an AE blamed the buyer for not buying I wouldn’t be chasing strangers for meetings anymore

Oh firstly, did someone in the Klue team get their hands on my notes? I did a Loss interview once which was pretty much word for word this and when I interviewed internally, I pretty much heard the same story represented here. Two, it feels nice to know that was not a one-off or some weird mismatch.
