Team games are a big part of our Monday Morning process. It's how we start our week, as part of our regular Monday morning meeting, enjoying some time together as a team before the busy week ahead. But the question on our lips at this time of year is, who will be the overall winner of the team games trophy?! ?? Fight Club International is hosting a STAFFEX in July, building on the lessons learned from USA Fight Club's Carrier Clash. Something key to note about this event, is that everything from scenario and game design to player products have been created by two young hobby #wargamers. So the morning rant when I hear "Esports is how we are going to get more young wargamers interested in defense" I just have to laugh. Young wargamers are already interested in #defense #wargaming, but the pathways into defense are not accessible. Stop trying to create a WarThunder League, and capitalize on the already existing demographic. Young people are growing up with more complex games, and for #strategy gamers there is a natural tendency to try to find the most realistic game possible because that is what we tend to enjoy. We should recognize this, and give credit where it's due to the younger generation that already create exercises we would do for professional work. If you're interested in participating, find your way to one of the Fight Club discords and inquire about the event. Highly encourage everyone to at least try to spectate, you never know the talent that is out there and you may see someone worth giving a shot at your company...

How we do it has changed over time but there is nothing quite like planning pre-season. For me, the most important thing is to have games/exhibitions on the schedule. We like to start things off by going over key concepts and ideas and then play as soon as possible. See what sticks and what needs reinforcement. We then plan the next few sessions before our next exhibition based on what we saw. Contrast to when I first started (at St Kate’s); we would plan every day for weeks with little to no flexibility. Follow the plan and force the ideas. The current method is more adaptive to what we see from the team in the moment. Both achieved success, it’s just fun looking back and seeing how things have changed.

In contemplating these objectives, we must also consider the big picture by asking, #howmuchwoulditcosttoendworldhunger? This #question is #crucial to strategize financial plans and mobilize resources effectively. To #effectively address #worldhunger, it's critical to look beyond short-term solutions and aim for a comprehensive approach that includes #zerohunger as a key goal. #Activists and #policymakers need to focus on #sustainable #solutions that lead to zero hunger, such as #promoting agricultural efficiency, eliminating food waste, and creating equitable food distribution systems. ■So while individual efforts are valuable, a multi-faceted strategy targeting #zerohunger will make a lasting difference. ■Hunger is one of the greatest threats to humanity, with an estimated 800 million people living in a state of food insecurity. ■But it's also an issue that is hearthbreakingly solvable.
