Having finally succumbed to the lurgy this week, I've been thinking how, as a small business owner, there's not the same safety net of sick pay and if you're a one person band like me, there's no one to cover for you. If you don't do it, no one else is going to. So, today, I've been resting but in between I've been working from my bed. It's tough out there for small businesses. We don't have the reach or the resources of larger brands and many are going under. But I bet we all know at least one small business owner. Hands up in the comments if you do! Things are tough for all of us right now, but there are lots of ways we can help and support small businesses, without it costing us a penny (though every penny you decide to spend with them is hugely welcome and appreciated).
