Interswitch Career Fair 3.0 My Takeaways I spent last weekend with the inspiring interswitch career fair hosted by Interswitch group. A huge shoutouts to everyone at interswitch for creating a platform for #Reimaginingwork! It was truly an inspiring & time worth session, I really had a great time listening to the speakers and facilitators and also connecting with a great number of individuals. A key learning & insights; 1. A clear vision - you need to know where exactly you are headed or else you end up nowhere. 2. The sense of purpose a employee feels in an organization differs due to their proximity to the organization value 3. Habituation is a concept of comfort zones, you need to have a mindset of disabituation. 4. Work is spiritual, it is how people experience and perceive you as a person. 5. Prioritize learning over earning. 6. When you have a mission you don’t need permission 7. You have to be intentional about the value you are adding to an organization. If you are not adding value then you are just taking up space in the organization. Target being a top talent and high performing talent in any organization you find yourself. 9. When you are starting a business or products, make sure it’s solving a problem everyone can relate to. After listening to all this great insights, I can say I’m so prepared and motivated to see work differently and also put in more efforts to use all I’ve learnt to harness my career and contribute more value to the world at large.
