Are you a communications/marketing professional who wants to help fight the upcoming erosion of our civil and human rights? Are you able to work at a reduced or pro-bono rate for organizations and teams that are dedicated to preserving democracy, humanity, and the planet? I am starting a collective of people who are willing and able to lend their skills in the fight. Many small organizations doing important work can't afford full-time comms staff and need to hire consultants for specific projects. This is meant to be an organic connection hub for people who need help and the folks who can help them. Anyone interested can use this link to fill out the google form. Respondents can request access to the community spreadsheet after their identity is verified. Happy Friday! Weekends are big for political campaigns, particularly for canvassing (or door knocking) to talk to voters about issues that matter to them. Whether it is a candidate running for your local school board, your state legislature, Congress or for President, these individuals will make important and long-lasting policy decisions. And if you run for office in the future, those folks might?volunteer to work on your campaign. ?Perhaps you worked side by side with a volunteer coordinator who people cannot say “no” to or witnessed the work of the most studious, detail-oriented treasurer. Consider this volunteer work as a job interview for a position that you would like in the next campaign or the chance to meet individuals to fill a position you will need for your future campaign.
