Today, as part of National Women’s Health Week, we’re talking about reducing women’s health stigma. Many women deal with conditions that cause them pain, discomfort, and problems getting pregnant. Women with endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and uterine fibroids may have many questions about their health and fertility. By providing support and end-to-end reproductive healthcare for any stage including fertility treatment, you can support women in the workplace. Let’s raise awareness of women’s needs in the workplace! https://ow.ly/i53E50RzN5Y #NWHW #WomensHealthMonth

Did you know women are 7 times more likely than men to have a heart condition misdiagnosed or be discharged during a heart attack? Shockingly, they're also less likely to receive crucial secondary prevention upon discharge, doubling their risk of dying from a serious heart attack. McKinsey's research sheds light on concerning disparities in healthcare that require immediate attention. https://lnkd.in/gfP-2Vsa As we celebrate the achievements of women globally, let's also advocate for change in healthcare. It's time to break the cycle of disparity and ensure every woman receives the care she deserves. At Hello Health Group, we're committed to empowering women's health journeys. ?? Women's Health Week is May 12-18th! ?? At Morpheus Wellness, we're committed to recognizing the unique health challenges that women face every day. For too long, women's health concerns have been overlooked and misunderstood, leading to disparities in care and medical biases. Did you know that women's health studies historically excluded or underrepresented women, leading to gaps in our understanding of how medical conditions and treatments affect them compared to men? While progress has been made, there's still work to be done to ensure that healthcare providers have a comprehensive understanding of women's health issues. Women's reproductive systems, hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, and even migraines can increase the risk of stroke compared to their male counterparts. It's crucial for women to be proactive about their health and advocate for themselves in medical settings. This Women's Health Week, take charge of your well-being. Write down your questions and concerns, know your family's health history, and don't be afraid to speak up and ask for clarification from your healthcare provider. Your health matters, and you deserve personalized care that takes your unique needs into account. ?? #WomensHealthWeek #AdvocateForYourself #strokeawareness #MorpheusWellness ??

Whenever I'm asked....."Why women's health?" My answer is........."Why not women's health?" Women make up a huge part of our society, and their well-being has a ripple effect on everyone around them. When women are healthy, they can thrive in their careers, take care of their families, and contribute to their communities. But when their health is neglected, it can have devastating consequences for not only them, but for everyone in their lives. Women's health is often misunderstood as being limited to reproductive health, but it encompasses a broader range of issues including sexual health, fertility, childbirth, breastfeeding, postnatal care, and menopause. There is a stigma surrounding women's health, leading to confusion, discomfort and even shame when discussing these topics. We need to destigmatize these women's health issues by adopting an holistic approach to care, and providing accessible, patient-centered services, leveraging the various digital tools available. Thanks to various women and organizations advocating for and contributing towards women's health, there's been some improvement. It's time we join hands and do what we can!!!!! Happy Tuesday??????.
