Our university partnerships are so important!
Argonne's Paul Kearns and Karen Plaut, Executive Vice President for Research at Purdue University, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote groundbreaking research collaborations between these two leading institutions. This partnership will drive innovation across multiple critical fields, including microelectronics, quantum information science, materials science, nuclear science and engineering, and energy storage materials and recycling. By aligning our scientific and technical expertise, both Argonne and Purdue will help shape the future of these cutting-edge areas, pushing the boundaries of discovery. The signing ceremony was followed by a full-day conference hosted by the Council on Competitiveness, convening leaders from academia, industry, and government to explore the future of innovation in chips, qubits, and molecules within the Indiana-Illinois Innovation Corridor.
