Work on CACAO v3.0 has started!!!! #Cybersecurity #playbooks are a critical part of modern #cyber #defense. While playbooks can enable Security #Orchestration, #Automation, and #Response (#SOAR), they are not limited to being used by SOAR tools. In fact, most organizations today already use playbooks, everything from how to onboard new employees, to how to provision access in email, to how to add rules to the firewall, and even how to securely off-board employees when they leave the company. The Collaborative Automated Course of Action Operations (#CACAO) for cyber security playbooks technical committee (TC) at OASIS has started work on CACAO v3.0. This next version is taking in feedback from all of the companies and organizations that are implementing CACAO and looking to add a few new features, especially around how to use playbooks with #AI. If you are interested in shaping the future of cyber defense, I would encourage you to join the Technical Committee at OASIS and help us improve cyber security globally.
