On November 9th, Esperanza welcomed young leaders from across the community to the Esperanza Youth Against Violence Summit at Esperanza College of Eastern University, where they gathered to learn, connect, and discover new paths and opportunities in anti-violence initiatives. Highlights included an inspiring keynote from Edwin Desamour, Executive Director of The Lighthouse 1893; motivational activities and energizing icebreakers to set the tone for a day of action; and valuable opportunities to network with peers passionate about building safer communities. Attendees engaged in discussions on future initiatives, internships, and mentorships, strengthening their commitment to creating positive change. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
