We are thrilled to announce that at the National Hospice Foundation’s 2024 Gala during #ALC2024 last week, thanks to the support and participation of members and supporters, we raised over $200,000 for the Lighthouse of Hope fund, offering patients with life-limiting illnesses financial support to fulfill last wishes. At the Gala the Alliance also recognized four outstanding individuals for their remarkable contributions to the community. The Healthcare Architect Award honored Carla Davis and Robert Parker, PhD, DNP, RN, CENP, CHPN, CHP for their impact on the delivery and accessibility of hospice and palliative care. The annual Galen Miller award honored Samira K Beckwith and Melinda Gruber for their dedication to and passion for the hospice and palliative care community.
