As part of our efforts to live our Core Value of Inclusivity, this week NTH celebrated Diwali! We had some discussion about the holiday - what it means, how its celebrated, and more. Then we enjoyed an amazing feast. NTH, like our country, is a melting pot of different cultures and traditions and its great to be able to celebrate this with our employee-owners!

Wishing a very Happy Diwali to all who are celebrating! Diwali, the festival of lights, falls on the new moon night and is celebrated by lighting diyas (lamps), engaging in meaningful rituals, and embracing all the festive joy that surrounds it. For me, lighting a lamp goes beyond tradition—it’s a powerful symbol of hope, courage, and life. No matter how dark things may seem, there is always a light that perseveres. Diwali also marks the beginning of a new year, and with it, a renewed sense of determination. During Diwali, I take a few days to reflect, plan, and envision the year ahead. As I look back, here are three lessons that I really integrated consciously and that gives me strength: Embrace the unfamiliar: When trying something new, it can feel out of character, even uncomfortable. It’s not that you’re being inauthentic—it’s simply unfamiliar. The key is to keep going until it feels natural. Gain perspective through role-play: When questioning a choice, imagine a dear friend making the same decision. What advice would you give them? This role-play with myself often brings clarity for me. Focus on the big picture: It’s so easy to get tangled in small worries. Take a moment to literally and emotionally shake yourself free. Keep your eyes on what truly matters. To everything else just say to yourself, "It doesn't matter." Wishing you all a season of wonderful new beginnings. Every day offers the chance to start fresh, and now is as good a time as any.

As the month of Diwali is approaching & brings with it the joy of celebration and the spirit of gifting! ?? As we light up our homes and hearts, it's also the perfect time to show appreciation to our teams with thoughtful corporate gifts. Here are a few tips to consider when choosing the perfect gift: 1. Personalize: Show you value your team's individuality by selecting gifts that resonate with their personal tastes. 2. Quality over Quantity: A well-chosen, high-quality gift speaks volumes about your appreciation. 3. Cultural Sensitivity: Diwali is a time of tradition and values; ensure your gifts respect the cultural significance of the festival. 4. Utility: A practical gift that can be used daily is always appreciated. This Diwali, let’s gift not just items, but also our gratitude and thoughtfulness! ??

Happy Diwali! ??? Let’s Light It Up! It’s Diwali, the Festival of Lights, and if there’s one thing this celebration teaches us, it’s that a little brightness goes a long way. So, as we’re lighting up our homes and filling up on sweets, let’s talk about lighting up our workplaces with some Diwali-inspired energy. Diwali is about bringing people together—family, friends, even that one uncle who insists he knows the best fireworks. Let’s bring that spirit to our workspaces too, where diversity, equity, and inclusion are our way of lighting up every corner. Imagine a space where every background, culture, and personality can shine as bright as Diwali diyas. Here’s to creating places where everyone feels valued, empowered, and maybe even inspired to bring their full, unique selves to the table. Let’s make sure our teams feel a little more connected, a little more celebrated, and a whole lot brighter. Wishing you all a Diwali filled with light, love, and maybe even some unexpected dance moves. Let’s carry the spirit forward and keep those lights on all year. #Diwali #FestivalOfLights #DEI #DiversityAndInclusion #CelebrateTogether

Hope you all had a great and illuminating Diwali. I couldn't help, but think about the time, effort and possibly financial resources into getting our homes/offices and our spaces cleaned before Diwali. More often than not, it is a frenzy of activity to make sure that it's all spic and span. Here'a a thought - how about we do a spring cleaning version of ourselves and our lives? Kind of like a Personal Audit of ourselves....Start by identifying areas that need a little extra attention—whether it’s relationships, habits, or goals." Can we spend some time and reflect on: What brings us joy? What holds us back? And write it down. This is our personal inventory, a chance to recognize what truly matters." Just like clearing out old items, maybe it's also time to let go of what no longer serves us, maybe it’s time to release negative thoughts or unproductive habits and create space for new opportunities. Can we use this fresh start to set intentions. What goals do we want to achieve in the coming year? Visualize them and create actionable steps to get there." An investment in ourselves for ourselves - a pathway to illuminating ourselves, to grow and renew.

"You uncultured swine," said, Mister Potato Head [ Note to Self ] Today, I received a thoughtful email from my supervisor, Mohan Natarajan, sharing news of our team in India gearing up to celebrate Diwali, also known as Deepavali, the Hindu festival of lights. His message was not only heartfelt but genuinely inspiring. I started this post with a bit of humor and a note to myself because, while we may differ in location, beliefs, culture, or tastes, the one constant is our shared humanity. Something I have to remind myself from time to time. We all deserve respect, dignity, and appreciation. Before joining DCKAP and now transitioning to Klizer, Diwali was a distant concept to me, a word I might have only heard in passing. But being part of this global team has opened my eyes to the significance and beauty of these celebrations. Embracing the traditions and perspectives of others isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a strength. If we were all alike, the world would miss the diversity that makes it so rich. I’m aware of my own flaws and imperfections, and it’s in recognizing the individuality of others that I gain a deeper appreciation for our collective beauty. Whether you’re celebrating Diwali or voting in an upcoming election, let’s remember our shared humanity, both flawed and beautiful. In life and business, the values of respect, appreciation, and understanding go a long way. Let’s continue to build connections and add value to one another, one gesture at a time.
