Too often, organizational monitoring emphasizes rigid metrics—KPIs, performance reviews, and surveys—that, while useful for assessing productivity and efficiency, can overlook the deeper patterns actively shaping an organization’s health, resilience, and emergent potential. A living systems approach to monitoring #withlife enables us to observe and monitor our organizations holistically. Think of your organization as a garden. When plants start to wilt, we don’t blame the individual plant. Instead, we look at the garden as a whole: Is the soil healthy? Are there too many weeds or pests? Do the plants have diseases? By monitoring our micro-ecosystem with a systems view of life, we have the information needed to adapt and create conditions for the plants to thrive. Just as a garden’s overall condition determines whether plants thrive, an organization’s underlying health determines employee well-being. We create more resilient workplaces by shifting focus from individual performance to systemic health. For this week’s With Life Wednesday, we invite you to view your organization through the lens of living systems. ?? What are the essential signs that a living system is unhealthy? ?? What are the key indicators that your team or organization is unhealthy? ?? What factors contribute to disengagement within your team? If you're curious to learn more about monitoring for organizational health, check out our upcoming Lead Through Change 3-week online course, brought to you by nRhythm, on building organizational resilience by aligning systems and strategies with the dynamic patterns of living systems. We begin on April 9th. Learn more → https://lnkd.in/ga_UnbMc
