#NewResearch Really pleased to contribute to this paper with YanXiu Quan, YongXing Zhao, Rabiu Muazu Musa, Rui Miguel Silva, Chin-Hwai Hung and Yung-Sheng Chen Assessing physical fitness adaptations in collegiate male soccer players through training load parameters: a two-arm randomized study on combined small-sided games and running-based high-intensity interval training Objective: To evaluate the effects of a 4-week intervention combining small- sided games (SSGs) and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on physical fitness in collegiate male soccer players. Conclusion: The 4-week intervention combining SSGs with HIIT did not produce statistically significant improvements in most physical fitness variables compared to the control group. Although there were positive trends in variables such as RSA and 30-15IFT, these changes were modest and not statistically significant. The results suggest that while the combined SSGs and HIIT approach shows potential, its impact on physical fitness over a 4-week period is limited, with some variables, like CMJ, even showing decreases.

In these 2 places: - sauna - steam room And while others in there are typically: - watching TikToks - blaring music I find that the 30+ minutes I am in the sauna and steam rooms, I use it as a short technology detox. This leads me to: - creative ideas - self reflection - self evaluation - peaceful feelings Same goes for when I am playing basketball, I really try to avoid any technology other than playing music. Blurry Awards: SKIMS x Team USA (June 2024) ?? Objective: Until now, SKIMS has been more of a fashion brand focused on women's shape and loungewear. SKIMS has men’s and an adaptive line (clothing designed around the needs people who have difficulty dressing). To showcase its inclusivity and get in front of a new audience, SKIMS needs a splashy campaign with relevant star power to share these collections in a capsule drop that excites it current audience as well. ??The Idea: With the Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024 starting on July 24th, SKIMS partnered with Team USA and some of their athletes to showcase the new Team USA branded collection, with an emphasis on showing off the men's and adaptive pieces. ?? The Launch: SKIMS launched the new Team USA branded line with the athletes via photo and video content on the SKIMS social channels, saying “Everybody wears SKIMS on Team USA”. All athletes posted about the collaboration on their personal accounts, ensuring that this campaign gets in front of new audiences that follow athletes, but maybe not SKIMS yet. ?? The Buzz: By strategically partnering with athletes for this campaign, SKIMS showed consumers how comfortable and inclusive the brand is, without specifically saying it and instead allowing athletes to share their thoughts on SKIMS. Jessica Long, a five-time Paralympian in swimming, shared, “I’m a huge fan of the brand and their purpose of providing solutions for everybody. The extensive Paralympic offering, especially the Fits Everybody Adaptive category, highlights how SKIMS delivers on this mission. I’m proud to represent the brand and my community!” What went well: ?? Getting men's attention: Men's underwear is a massive market, growing at a CAGR of 5.7% and valued at $66 Billion USD, with the subcategories of soft loungewear and moisture-wicking being the most popular. Through this campaign and highlighting male athletes on Team USA, it captured a new segment of the male fashion market: athletic men and women shopping for men. ???? USA! USA!: The campaign is filled with nostalgic photography and videography highlighting the athletes pride, strength, and honor in participating in the Olympic & Paralympic Games as a part of Team USA, and of course, a lot of red, white, and blue! For next time: ?? SKIMS Pop-Up Shop: Over the past couple years, SKIMS has opened a number of pop-up shops all over the country. In addition, Europe is the largest market for men's underwear. With both of these insights in mind, we hope SKIMS looks into opening up a pop-up shop at the location of the Olympic & Paralympic Games to give people from other countries that do not have a SKIMS store an opportunity to feel to comfort of the collection in person.
