So awesome to see our eDNA research displayed at River Restoration Northwest! We have been conducting an ongoing eDNA (or environmental DNA) study in Kellogg Creek and it's tributaries to see which fish species are able to access the creek past Kellogg Dam. We have been looking for Chinook and Coho salmon, steelhead/rainbow trout, and Pacific lamprey. We also looked for our native turtles, and freshwater mussels! You can read more about this research, and what we have found so far on our website. https://lnkd.in/gsS_uGaa Many thanks to Andy, and our partners at Cramer Fish Sciences for their ongoing work on the eDNA research project and for making this great poster!
