If you don’t change your disastrous policy on allowing international students to study in Australia, countries like the UK will take this huge contributor to Australia's GDP away. We can kiss goodbye to the fourth-largest contributor to the Australian economy, and you will have to find another way to recover this revenue so taxpayers don’t continue to bear the burden of bad policy. Let’s get back to inviting international students who bring so much more than just revenue into this country. Today, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day, a day dedicated to those who shape the future through education! Teachers play a crucial role in ensuring quality education for future generations, and the European Union continues to support them through a series of strategic initiatives. These include: ? The creation of 25 Erasmus+ Teacher Academies, a goal to be reached by 2025. ? The development of European guidelines aimed at improving teachers’ career paths and facilitating their continuous professional development. ? Expanding mobility programs for teachers, offering them opportunities to learn and collaborate internationally. By investing in educators, the European Union invests in the future of the continent, recognizing the importance of training those who prepare the generations of tomorrow.

The company operates two international schools in Malaysia, with a strategy of expanding organically and via acquisition in fast growing Asian economies, and by consolidating the distressed UK sector where many sub-scale, and therefore unprofitable, public schools are threatened with closure. Notably, there are three other schools in Malaysia and one in the UK that also trade under the Fairview brand, which are outside of the plc group. We spoke to Dr Vincent Chian, Principal of Fairview Kuala Lumpur, whose experience as a former psychologist has driven him to put student welfare and building mental resilience at the heart of Fairview’s educational philosophy.
