Builders of Hope Community Development Corporation has released the highly anticipated Dallas Neighborhood Anti-Displacement Toolkit. The toolkit addresses the critical need for policy change to protect vulnerable residents in historically marginalized communities from displacement due to rising housing costs. By 2032, the typical Dallas renter will only be able to afford 21% of rental units, while Dallas homebuyers earning the median income will only be able to afford less than 2% of homes on the market at that time, according to the study.
