Alex Curry, Director of Sports Medicine, at Alabama Adapted Athletics, introduced us to a very important use case for palm cooling. Athletes with disabilities have unique thermoregulation challenges which can undermine performance. After trialling the Narwhals in practices, Alex introduced them during games, including with Team USA Women's Wheelchair Basketball at the Paralympics in Paris where they took home the silver medal!
