Our cryogenic technology prevents CO2 emissions compared to traditional incineration/combustion methods, paving the way for a cleaner and safer environment. As companies must comply with the CRSD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), preventing additional C02 emissions is essential. Depending on the product and volume, we have an average of condensing 2000 liter product which equals 4 to 6,5 tons CO2 emissions for each operation. Recently, we realized a recovery of 4750 liters, which is equivalent to a CO2 emission of 11,4 tons if this would be done by incineration/combustion. SORG Group commissions second CLEAN Melter? https://lnkd.in/dcptHxpT Nikolaus Sorg GmbH & Co. KG The?SORG Group?has commissioned the world’s second CLEAN Melter? furnace at Fabrica Paraguaya de Vidrios (FPV) in Paraguay. FPV is a highly respected manufacturer of glass packaging in the Mercosur region. Planned and supplied by?Nikolaus SORG, the furnace is designed for a capacity of 140 tonnes per day and the capability of melting flint, amber and green glass. All furnace-specific equipment, a SORG STW distribution channel and 2S-shaped forehearths of type SORG 340S+ were delivered. Helping FPV meet the company’s emissions and sustainability goals, the CLEAN Melter? is set up to achieve an electric share of up to 80 percent of the melting energy. The furnace steel was supplied and installed by Siam Furnace Construction (Thailand), a company of?SORG Keramik Services?(SKS). SORG Feuerungsbau und Service GmbH was responsible for the heating up and filling of the furnace. SORG Group’s?EME?supplied the CPO 650D? batch charging machines. The smooth and successful build-up and commissioning of the furnace was also a result of the good collaboration and integration of the project teams of?Ambev’s and?AB InBev?with the SORG team.

These LCAs calculate the carbon footprint of our products, offering valuable insights for the construction industry and supporting projects aiming to meet Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) goals. ?? Key Highlights: Our LCA data demonstrates significant carbon savings when using mill secondary steel pipe, which leads to up to 68% savings in CO2 emissions compared to new USA mill steel pipe. Our commitment to sustainability is backed by third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for each of our piling products (SPECIFIC TO JLT MANUFACURING PROCESS), showing cradle-to-installation environmental impacts. These findings provide invaluable data for projects that require GHG emissions reporting, helping to meet Scope 3 requirements and make more environmentally conscious material choices.
