We had a fantastic time Tuesday night at this year’s New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) New York City Cocktail Party! We are so grateful and humbled to have been chosen as the honoree in recognition of our hard work at NineDot. With over 300 attendees, the energy in the room was electric! We heard from Adriano Espaillat and Julie Tighe about the urgent need to double down on our climate goals in New York, and our Co-founder and CTO Adam Cohen highlighted how even with a great plan, the unexpected always arises, and you need real-world experience and strong partners to navigate the challenges of an industry like ours. Adam engaged the crowd with a little song he wrote especially for the event, to the tune of Road Trippin’ by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (1999): "Road trippin’ with my NineDot allies Fully charged for the peaker plant demise It’s time to green this town, it’s time for carbon free Let’s go charge up all across the NYC Let’s go get charged, let’s go get charged" We’re thrilled to have so many great partners in our work, and we’re especially grateful for NYLCV’s strong and relentless advocacy for a more sustainable New York. #CleanEnergy #ClimatePolicy #NYLCV #EnergyTransition #EnergyStorage #Sustainability
