Congratulations?to?Javier, Seneca, and Shane?from?Phoenix (Oregon) High School’s DECA Team?on their?1st place state win?last night in Portland! They tackled a real-world challenge in a mock setting:?pitching an AI strategy to a CEO. Their solution? A?22-page written proposal and verbal presentation?outlining how NIC Industries could?implement a comprehensive AI program—complete with?budgets, KPIs, and execution plans. NIC was proud to invest in these students, providing?mentorship, facility tours, and conversations with our CEO. They took that access and delivered a?well-earned victory. Next up:?the International Career Development Conference?in?Orlando?this April. DECA Inc. is a nationwide program that prepares emerging leaders in?marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
