Correct Answer: D) If she had studied harder, she would have passed the exam. Explanation: The third conditional tense is used for hypothetical situations in the past that did not happen. It uses "had" plus the past participle in the if-clause and "would have" plus the past participle in the main clause. Sentence D correctly uses this structure. Choices A, B, and C incorrectly mix tenses or use the wrong conditional form.

Correct Answer: B) The students who studied hard passed the exam. Explanation: A restrictive clause provides essential information about the noun it modifies and is not set off by commas. In sentence B, "who studied hard" is a restrictive clause that specifies which students passed the exam. Sentence A incorrectly uses commas, suggesting a nonrestrictive clause, which would imply all students studied hard. Sentence C incorrectly uses a comma after "students" but not after "hard," creating a punctuation error. Sentence D incorrectly uses "that" instead of "who" for people and includes an unnecessary comma.

How many marking errors are there in the 6 million exam scripts marked each year? The figures we have on re-marks are probably just the tip of the iceberg, writes @noookophile https://lnkd.in/eqZ_8uDt

??Pov : Du Students on the exam day in the metro! I know you've must have gone through that final moment anxiety. Whether some units are untouched, or some fully covered. But: ? Here is the catch. What do you believe in? ?Last minute preparation? Or ?Last minute revision? ? I believe in revising the stuff I have gone through. ? But definitely not Cramming. I feel what's gone is gone. You can't really cover a whole unit/portion quite before few hours of your exam. P.s - Do you Agree?

You must know about a technique that can be used but that few people know about. If you want to receive the answer from the LLMs in a clear format, but at the same time you want to give it time to "think" (to generate intermediate calculations and reasoning steps), you can request the output of two fields: - The reasoning (as an array of strings - these will be the steps)? - The final answer.? The LLM's thoughtful consideration before providing an answer significantly enhances its quality. The beauty of this process lies in its efficiency- it's all completed in a single request, eliminating the need for manual adjustments between the reasoning and the answer.

I always say this: "Every instruction has an expiry date." They were surely relevant back then, at the time of giving instructions. But, before following an old instruction, validate the circumstances. Ask yourself what has changed & adapt accordingly. Otherwise, you'll assume you did everything right but won't understand why things didn’t work as expected because you'll be looking in the wrong place. Remember, every instruction has an expiry date. You should always evaluate the circumstances then vs. now before starting. #InsightsFromWork #EvaluateAndAct #Instruction #StayRelevant

Cross examination: Cross examination is in itself an art. Not every question can be prepared before hand, an advocate has to think out of the box while preparing questions. Needless to mention it is a joyful experience.
