He wanted to find out how Illinois manufacturers can position themselves to manufacture the components and parts needed for this innovative technology and how the U.S. can help develop a robust quantum supply chain. He turned to the MEP-Assisted Technology and Technical Resource (MATTR) service, a way to access world-class National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) technical expertise, whether it is to help manufacturers find suitable solutions to their real-world problems or provide insight into the emergence of an entirely new technology. ? Concrete’s properties can be significantly affected by temperature, particularly during extreme weather conditions such as intense heat. ACI 305 and CSA A23.1 recommend an ambient temperature of a minimum of 27 ℃ (80 ℉) and above as the threshold to identify hot weather concrete conditions. Molex CES Jetted Fiber THE BENEFITS Molex Jetted Fiber is “jetted” into its conduits with compressed air, propelling the cable and reducing friction. The result is that significantly greater lengths of optical fiber can be pushed without risking damage to the media, and significantly reducing installation time and cost. Over long distances, this also reduces the amount of manholes, handholes and pull boxes that are required. There is no need to install a winch or other pulling method, reducing the number of technicians required and minimizing disruption to active sites. The ability to easily jet in additional fibers results in significantly reduced Day 2 management costs and disruption. Upgrades and additions can be managed without the need for demolition or construction of new pathways. Designing to 100% of the required detail ensured a streamlined and efficient installation process, minimizing the need for reworking and additional 11th-hour costs which can often occur in infrastructure projects. Integrating the process control network backbone into the existing MJF pathways eliminated the need to lay separate conduits and resulted in a substantial reduction in project costs.?

Unlike commercial buildings, certain industrial buildings are classified due to the potential presence of hazardous substances. Most HVAC companies rely solely on general ACH ventilation to remove these hazards. However, bulk air changes only offer an average view of the Lower Flammable Limit (LFL) through the space and lack detailed insights. A Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation can be used to evaluate the design of ventilation systems, ensuring a balanced LFL throughout the building and minimizing it in high-risk zones.
