HB1633 Officially a Zombie Bill? Possible Effort to Bring it Back to Life on Veto Day. It’s baaaaaaack…maybe. For those that may not recall, the ultimate result of votes on the state takeover bill during what is called Crossover Day ultimately ended with the bill being tabled in the House. For those catching up, you can read our previous analysis here, here and here. I’m sure you were hoping (as we were) that it would be the end of the bill, and hopefully the end of years of attempts for the state to be too involved in the industry rather than constraining itself to a regulatory role. Well…for a few weeks at least we have been hearing rumors there may be a concerted effort to un-table the bill and pass it at Veto Day happening on October 10th 2024. We’ve been holding off until we could get some sort of collaboration. Currently we’ve received enough tips from various sources that we feel there is enough smoke to send out a warning. If you want any chance at opportunity to compete in the industry we’d recommend contacting your State Rep and Senator early and often. OUTRAGE: Senator Rand Paul is angry after the Senate voted last night, early this morning, to approve, once again, spying on Americans without requiring a warrant. He wrote, "Tonight the Senate was given the chance to vote on amendments to help fix a slew of unconstitutional provisions to RISAA, the fake FISA reform bill, and truly reform other government spying practices as well. "My 1st amendment included my bipartisan 4th Amendment is Not for Sale Act (already passed by the House). It would have ended the government’s practice of buying its way around the Bill of Rights by purchasing Americans’ personal data. "My 2nd amendment would have exempted Americans from being swept up in the bulk collection of personal data from the FOREIGN Intelligence Surveillance Act. We could have ensured both constitutional rights and national security were protected. Defeated 11-82 "Yet again the Senate was asked to consider the question: Can liberty be exchanged for security? And sadly the majority of Senators said yes it can. Final FISA reauthorization passed once again."

The Biden administration has put in place Directive 5240.01, three weeks before the election. The directive gives the DoD, permission to enter a conflict between US citizens and the state government law enforcement agencies, (January 6 ) where deadly force can be used. The entry would be as an intelligence, and logistic gatherer agency to the state law enforcement agencies. This would entail the words DEADLY FORCE, meaning where the use of deadly force is authorized by the US government to stop an inscerection of its citizens. This can only mean if Kamala wins and the citizenry rebell, the state(s), law enforcement can be authorized to use deadly force to stop it, and the DoD will be authorize to provide inteligence which also means logistics to support the stopping of the inscerection. The same DoD which is credited with inventing the modern day internet; A global information sharing platform. The only way to institute this is if the idea of Kamala winning is so far-fetched it will be seen by the citizenry as something unspoken had occurred. Either way if Kamala wins the Democrats are not going to be playing no games in restoring order. The components has been put in place for the use of brute, and blunt force, labeled as deadly force, to stop an inscerection.

Emmanuel Lemelson, where the SEC is acting as both accuser and adjudicator. https://lnkd.in/gFnybFNU Despite a Massachusetts federal jury rejecting nearly all of the SEC’s unfounded charges against him in 2021, the SEC is now using its "follow-on" enforcement proceeding to threaten him with suspension from the securities industry. This proceeding is inherently biased, with the SEC appointing itself as the sole adjudicator. ?? Due process is a cornerstone of justice—it requires a fair trial and an impartial tribunal. Yet the SEC’s pattern of ruling in its favor in every single follow-on case undermines these principles. By bypassing a federal court and acting unilaterally, the SEC not only violates Fr. Lemelson’s Fifth Amendment rights but also his Seventh Amendment right to a trial by jury. ?? We are demanding an end to this travesty. Our complaint, filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, seeks to stop the SEC’s biased proceedings and restore true due process. It’s time to put a stop to this mockery of justice!

The Part D PDP premium stabilization program for 2025, announced last week, is in question by lawmakers in the House and Senate. The questions are whether this demo is legal because it is unlikely budget neutral and it isn't much of a demo without a control group. My guess is this will cost taxpayers $3+ billion, but it will help to decrease the likelihood of a mass exodus from PDP plans during 2025 open enrollment.
