Here's a morning lesson in understanding your target's psychology: This offer to be hired stands out not just because of the aggressive language or the innovative idea, but because of the deep thinking that went into understanding the fears (waste of time) and aspirations (hiring people who can prove themselves quickly) of a business owner. Hey everyone, I host a small online gathering once a month, called Pitch Practice Party. It's a zoom event, and we let 10 people practice their pitch before a virtual audience with the sole goal of improving their pitching skills. Yes, there are VCs in the audience, but they are not under any expectation of investing... the only requirement is that everyone is under NDA, and reviewers will try their best to give useful feedback about pitching skills. The only requirement is that we request your pitched venture has a genuine "social impact" component. Pitch parties are held on weekend mornings, and last about 90 minutes. Usually, there's a presentation by an investor or tech/solutions up front, and then the pitches. There is no cost to participate in this event. The next one is in about a month!
