Thanks to Diana Goovaerts for reaching out to me to get my POV on Red Hat's recent move to acquire Neural Magic to bring in some AI optimization of models and execution across GPUs and CPUs as applications move out across the universe of edges thanks to Edge AI. Speaking of the edge, Red Hat also announced updates to OpenShift and Device Edge platforms that better enable the development, optimized deployment and lifecycle management of of applications deployed across the edge continuum all the way to endpoint devices.
