Hey, David. Hey, David Central. Be advised, the city was only just beginning to thaw out after days below freezing. But in the heat of the moment, these two Brooklyn cops sprang into action. You take this job to put other people before you. Christian Ferrante and his partner, Luigi Baez had seconds to react. We were doing. We were trained to the after a man somehow stranded himself in the middle of a frozen lake in Prospect Park and called 911 for help. As soon as we got out of the car, that was when the ice cracked beneath him. And he fell in. The two cops grabbed a Parks Department rescue ladder. I'm not. I got you. I got out of my stomach, extended the ladder out. My partner had my leg, and we pulled in at the same time. And we were able to get him off off the ice. Come on. Come on. He's in the water for about 5 to 10 minutes. They were having a rough time and I was there for them. This was an amazing day. Could have, could have gotten worse, but this amazing day.
