"Just imagine how well a human scribe trained in primary care would actually work in an oncologist office and how that oncology scribe would perform in the emergency room. The clinician job across specialties is so incredibly different, and therefore the co-pilot [aka ambient AI scribe] job must inherently be different. And that has been a big part of our secret to successfully expanding across specialties. Great to see so many familiar faces at the AI and Automation in Primary Care Roundtable at The Health Foundry in London yesterday. Thanks to Jake for presenting some of the successes, as part of the real-world evaluation, that they’ve experienced using Rapid Health’s Smart Triage.?Additional thanks to Hatim Abdulhussein, Jenny Partridge, Matthew Peach, and their team, who put on a fantastic, over-subscribed event. Listening to some of the other presentations, it was clear that we were the only autonomous patient triage and navigation system on show.?The real difference being to provide the patient the right appointment to book, at the time of their Smart Triage assessment.?And the results that Jake presented strongly reinforced the benefits of having that autonomy.
