While serving as a member of the Mayor's Public Safety Transition Subcommittee, one of my priority recommendations was to invest in the leadership development of police officers and supervisors. It was exciting to spend time with the current New Blue cohort this week that includes 5 members of CPD. Superintendent Snelling gave the welcome address to newest class made up of law enforcement professionals from across the country. I had the honor of instructing the first session.
