The frontal lobes are a crucial part of our brain that plays a significant role in our behavior, thoughts, and emotions. They regulate our decision-making, problem-solving, planning, and other critical cognitive functions. But what happens when these frontal lobes are damaged or impaired? How does it affect our daily life, and what can be done to recover from it? In this blog post, we will explore the functions of the frontal lobes, what to expect when they are damaged, and how NeuLife Rehabilitation of Florida can help recover through neuro rehabilitation. https://lnkd.in/gjfhJEXK

Start the Revitalize Program Today! How Does It Work? Deep TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) targets specific areas of the brain to boost activity that supports memory and thinking skills. Research shows it can improve memory and overall brain function, especially in older adults. This treatment helps the brain stay flexible and strong, making it easier to think clearly, stay sharp, and handle daily tasks. Why Accelerated dTMS? Our accelerated TMS protocol is faster and more efficient, with 10-minute sessions allowing for multiple treatments in one day. Typically scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, it delivers quicker results than the standard 30-45 minute sessions once per day, over six weeks. #revitalize #empathy #empathymindcare #genx #babyboomers

Brain rehabilitation is essential for recovery from all types of injuries, especially concussions. ???? For years, the standard of care for concussions has been rest, but we now know rest alone is not enough. The brain thrives on activity and stimulation to heal effectively. As sports medicine professionals, it’s critical to implement proactive strategies such as vestibular and ocular rehabilitation to address balance, coordination, and vision issues that often arise after brain injuries. These therapies not only promote brain health but also improve functional recovery and reduce the risk of long-term complications. Concussion protocols must go beyond rest to include targeted brain rehab exercises designed to stimulate neural pathways and foster recovery. Let’s shift the focus to active care that empowers athletes to regain full health. #SportsMedicine #AthleticTraining #Concussion #Athlete #ConcussionProtocol #VestibularRehabilitation #OcularRehabilitation #BrainRehabilitation #BrainHealth #Healthcare #Physician #Coaching

Markman Expert Excluded - TexIPLawBlog.com Judge Rodriguez granted the plaintiff's motion to strike the defendant's expert witness on claim construction, finding that he was not a person of ordinary skill in the art. This was because the expert's only expertise in the relevant field of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (“TMS”) was one research project that he participated in, for which no details were provided. What is TMS, you ask??Well, it is a non-invasive technology aimed at addressing neurological disorders, such as persistent post-concussion symptoms due to Traumatic Brain Injury and depression symptoms, and enhancing cognitive brain function. https://lnkd.in/g8upE4wM #WDTX #TexIPLawBlog

?People who have suffered from a stroke or a traumatic brain injury are confronted with a variety of deficits. If many of these impairments respond positively to sensorimotor and cognitive therapies, there are still several difficulties to overcome. For example, a number of these people develop apathy. This loss of motivation and interest limits interaction with those around them, such as therapists and relatives, and can severely impair functional recovery. As part of the European SUN project - pilot 3 - our aim is to encourage social participation and involvement in various activities of daily life for these people by using extended reality. Combining new technologies, such as deep brain stimulation, with the rehabilitation process can certainly help to improve recovery potential. #Apathy; #EPFL, #CRR; #Stroke
