The pictured tents were recently purchased to fit over the OLTs (the cabinet where the central equipment for a fiber optic network is located) to create a comfortable environment for the crew during installation and can protect the modules from damage due to rain or snow!

If you suspect muskrats near your pond, you should install cable protection on your fountain from the beginning. Yes, the initial cost is more but the downtime and replacement of the initial cord is way worse. Splicing is not an option as water works its way several yards away from the water intrusion point. Therefore replacement of the entire cord in necessary.

?? ?????? ?????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ??????????????!??? In protecting critical infrastructure, cabling equipped with advanced flame and fire resistance features is non-negotiable. Flame resistance (IEC 60332-1-2) ensures that cables do not propagate fire, while fire resistance (IEC 60331-23) allows cables to maintain circuit integrity for a specified period during exposure to fire. ?????? ???? ???????? ??????????????????? In high-risk environments like data centers, industrial facilities, and emergency systems, these attributes provide significant advantages: ??? Limit Fire Spread: Minimize damage and enhance overall safety. ?? Maintain Circuit Integrity During Fire: Ensure that crucial systems can continue to function (such as alarms, emergency lighting, and communication systems) during a fire event. Giganet’s Category 6A S/FTP LSZH-FI Cable is engineered to offer both flame and fire resistance, delivering unparalleled protection while ensuring reliable data transmission. ?? We start Monday by recalling an equally important issue: the installation of fiber optic cables ?? When laying fiber optic cables, never exceed the permissible maximum tensile force given in the manufacturer's data sheet. If the tensile force exceeds the permissible value, the cable arrangement must be changed, e.g. using the figure-of-eight method. ?? Cables should be laid with appropriate margin - several or even several dozen meters, depending on the requirements of a specific project. ?? When selecting fiber optic cable, it is recommended to choose a fiber with a larger fiber count than needed for the project. Detecting damage to a fiber optic cable is much more difficult than in the case of twisted pair or coaxial cable, because it requires the installer to have a reflectometer. ?? After laying the cable, make sure that no tensile stresses are acting on it (except those intended for such working conditions with suspended cables).
