Exciting News!
I'm happy to announce that I successfully finished the summer school programme at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), studying semiconductor technology and micro fabrication.
I had the chance to delve into semiconductor device physics during this rigorous session, investigating the underlying ideas that underpin the behaviour of semiconductor materials. Modern nanofabrication techniques, including as precise etching procedures and sophisticated lithography techniques, were also addressed in the programme. These techniques are essential for creating nanoscale devices.
This program covered:
? Clean Room Procedures: Acquired knowledge on the clean room procedures necessary for the manufacture of semiconductors without contamination.
? Nanofabrication Techniques: Investigated cutting-edge techniques that are essential for producing nanoscale devices.
? Wafer Processing: Examined the complexities involved in the preparation and manufacture of wafers, including deposition and patterning methods.
Examined techniques for depositing thin layers of materials, including Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) and Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).
? Patterning Methods: Discussed several patterning methods that are necessary for defining complex circuit patterns, such as photolithography and electron beam lithography.
? Doping and Implantation: Acquired knowledge on how to modify semiconductors' electrical characteristics by means of doping and ion implantation.
? Etching Procedures: For material removal and device shaping, both wet and dry etching methods were investigated.
? Advanced Packaging: Spoke about state-of-the-art packaging options that improve the functionality and dependability of devices.
? MEMS Devices: Examined the technology and uses of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
? MEMS Devices: Examined the technology and uses of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
? Piezoelectric MEMS: Acquired knowledge on the development and use of MEMS apparatuses employing piezoelectric substances.
Having scored higher than 75%, I am honored to have received a Certificate of Distinction. My sincere appreciation goes out to Prof. Srinivasan Raghavan and the hardworking CeNSE faculty for their superb guidance and assistance during the course of the program.
I can't wait to use this enhanced expertise in my future endeavors and push the field of semiconductor research and development forward.
