?? Rant Warning ?? As we are running into the I.T. awards season the anticipation and excitement of learning if businesses have been shortlisted for category finals becomes a hot topic. With industry awards such as CompTIA and IT Europa Media & Intelligence Ltd being so significant to the industry, why oh why are their awards evening on the same date; June 26!? Where a company is blessed enough to be short-listed for both events how are they then expected to represent their company if their resource isn't enough to be able to attend both? Also, from a commercial perspective, both events will undoubtedly be compromising attendance and financial gains because c50% of the anticipated audience may well be going to the alternative awards. I'm not on my own with these thoughts. I've had several conversations on this and we all feel the same. Better communication between the organisations is needed so that the most important individuals in this (their audience) don't have to choose or compromise. #communicate #msps #vendors #awards #clash

In our Certified CMMC Assessor course we know you can't cover every possible assurance case that can be written. The constraints and requirements of different non-federal system just vary too much. Instead we tried to embed discussions of every single NIST-SP-800-171a assessment objective within a small scenario. The sufficiency and adequacy of the types of assessment objectives collected as part of assurance case will also vary. No right answer exist just different answer that would demonstrate the depth and breadth of a practice. An instructor using CyberDI curriculum in their CCA can utilize our workbook to drive authentic questions. In turn assessors can then develop their own assessment workbook if they will be performing self assessments. Assessors get exposed to multiple scenarios that cover common use cases if they are performing third party assessments.
