Our reflections align with insights obtained from the ISPOR RWE Summit and the associated discussions and debates. Are we, as a society, taking sufficient and timely steps to maximise the potential of personalised healthcare to improve patient outcomes in the future? This is the question at the heart of a speech https://lnkd.in/dQ945fJx I was honoured to make at Impact CEE in Poznań and discussed in more detail in a fireside chat https://lnkd.in/dxM-er8T with Aleksandra Filipovic. We covered a lot of topics: screening and diagnostics as the foundation of precision medicine; real-world implications of recent groundbreaking innovations; and the vital importance of big data and AI. But my call to action is simple. Governments, academia, regulators, patients, and private industry must collaborate with renewed commitment and passion to bring about the magnitude of systemic change required. We have all the ingredients necessary to revolutionise patient outcomes. So, what are we waiting for? The time to act is now.
