Can we spend a little time focusing on #customerchurn rate? I suspected you'd be interested. As you may already know, customer churn rate refers to the proportion of #customers or #subscribers that stop doing #business with a #company or #service. It's an important #metric for businesses as its usually far less expensive to retain customers than to acquire new ones. We can therefore confidently say that one of the key variables for contemporary businesses to keep cost at a minimum is to adopt strategies and #tools which will significantly reduce the risk of customer churn in order to keep #CustomerAcquisitionCost at a fair minimum. Let's look at a customer churn rates in a particular sector. I love my #movies and I presume you'll also be of the school of thought that with the global adoption of smartphones and internet especially in developing and emerging regions, streaming may be transitioning from a sort of #entertainment to becoming a culture. So let's look at the customer churn rate of certain major #SVOD services from 1st April 2023 to March 31st 2024 ?? Hulu had a #Churnrate of 15% ?? HBO Max had a Churn Rate of 17% ?? The Walt Disney Company's Disney+ had a Churn Rate of 21% ?? Paramount+ had a Churn Rate of 24% ?? And according to the IndieWire article[Netflix is not the streamer with the most loyal Subscribers] Apple TV + barely beat out Warner Bros. Discovery's Discovery+ with a Churn Rate of 40%.
