Imagine if your 1 in 10,000,000 genius was the IP you get to sell day in and day out? The biggest issue we’ve solved I think in the past 10 years or so was helping clients get their IP out of their heads. I think most people have genius IP that they either can’t identify or properly get sorted out. Once it’s identified and mapped out into a high profit model, they tend to grow aggressively. But, most owners are trying to sell and grow while ‘modeling’ what others are doing … which places them into a ‘sell like a commodity’ game. Hard to differentiate, get leads, sell and leverage growth. Premium profits use a specific modeling method because it’s essentially leveraging the genius inside their brains … While designing deliverables and results that maximize that one-of-a-kind IP in their heads. This game can only be played if you’re the one teaching it. No one else gets to play in your sandbox because there’s only one way in. Let the rest continuing trying to compete playing someone else’s game while you’re over here winning the game you imagined, designed, built and sold. I was at Ezra Firestone's Blue Ribbon event when the topic of PMF was covered as it related to ad-sets and conversions. The talk - which was great like all Blue Ribbon talks - focused on testing. A programmatic approach to defining and testing your avatars related to where your product drove value. Two things that stood out: 1. Even large brands have to test their assumptions; The world changes. So does your target. Asking the questions regularly is important. 2. Your gut is important, but testing it gives it legs. We all believe we've got it figured out. There are entire books written on how your own illusions can cause you to crash your business before you even see the outcomes of that. Challenge assumptions. It's not that your baby is ugly, but you better know what that baby really looks like.
