Australian Teaching Assistant Professional Standards (ATAPS)?– Pilot study Michelle Johns, Corey Pysing, Veronica Parker, Belinda Pinner and Sonja Cain recently completed their contribution to the Australian Teaching Assistant Professional Standards (ATAPS) development. The insights and experience that each contributed will play a vital role in shaping the success of the standards. ? The Australian Teacher Aide Project Team is now reviewing all the data from the workshops, and are confident that the ATAPS will be meaningful and relevant to teaching assistants (Student Learning Support) in all school settings. The North Carolina Center for After School Programs hosts an annual conference for afterschool program directors, leaders, teachers etc. I was able to join them again this year and serve as a workshop speaker.
