ESCAPE THE WORRY SPIRAL A FOCUS GROUP FOR ADULTS WITH ADHD & ANXIETY Dr. Sharon Saline is seeking participants for two exclusive, online focus groups of diverse adults of all ages (18 and older) living with ADHD and anxiety to help shape her upcoming book. Interested parties will engage in meaningful discussions with Dr. Saline, receive consultation about their individual challenges and contribute valuable insights that may be featured in the book. Discussion will be centered around all types of anxiety, ADHD, rejection sensitive dysphoria, perfectionism, productivity, procrastination and other related topics. These groups will meet weekly for one month with the possibility of continuation. Dr. Saline is offering this group at a deep discount of $100 total for the four sessions. Participants will be expected to sign a consent form allowing for the use of shared quotes which will be highly disguised in the book itself. This October join us in celebrating Neurodiversity Awareness Month 2024! ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition, which means it can be present from birth lasting throughout the lifetime. It is estimated that 5-10% of people have ADHD. There are three types of ADHD diagnoses- inattentive, impulsive and combined. Traits of ADHD tend to include: difficulty concentrating, impulsivity, differences in social communication and difficulty with planning and organisation. ADHD is not an illness and so it cannot be 'cured' or 'treated', but there are medications and therapies that can help people learn how to manage the difficulties they face.
