?? Hiring alert! ?? We are seeking section leaders for a Stanford University course that will be offered to high schools nationwide in winter/spring 2025. The course, “Between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.: Race, Religion, and the Politics of Freedom,” explores social change through the lives and political philosophies of the two civil rights leaders. Section leaders work remotely to support a high school classroom, teaching synchronously once a week and giving students robust feedback on their writing. The time commitment is approximately 10 hours per week. Lerone A. Martin, professor of religious studies and of African and African American studies at Stanford, created and leads the course, which is offered by Stanford Digital Education in partnership with the National Education Equity Lab.
