What’s your highest purpose? I chose to start my own business for a variety of reasons, including choosing my own schedule and the people I work with, being able to work anywhere in the world with an Internet connection, and discovering what I love (writing and helping holistic health care become more widely understood and accessible). But there’s a deeper purpose. I already am donating, and will donate more, to causes I support, including organizations that save and rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking and organizations that save animals from abuse and neglect. Someday, I will donate my time as well. I plan on assisting however I can, organizations that shelter women who have been forced to leave home for a myriad of reasons. One very common theme is fleeing domestic violence. There is so much good I am doing and can do with my resources. What about you? Our housing program is a critical component of the homeless to homeowner continuum. Housing is a foundational necessity for anyone and everyone. The availability and accessibility of affordable housing for individuals recovering from addiction and/or former incarceration is extremely limited. What started as a nudge from God to serve the most vulnerable, allowed us to change the trajectory of six adults’ and two children's’ lives through dignified housing and fellowship.
