Voting is a powerful tool for change, and your support can help ensure that the voices of individuals experiencing homelessness are heard. As trusted providers, your involvement makes a critical impact. Why Should Providers Get Involved? Promote racial equity:?Many people experiencing homelessness come from historically marginalized communities. Supporting them in navigating the voting process helps reduce participation gaps and fosters equity. Every voice counts:?Everyone has the right to be heard at the polls, including those without stable housing. Their vote can shape decisions that directly impact their lives and communities. Early voting is ending soon:?In Georgia, early voting ends this Friday. Now is the time to assist clients with accessing polling locations and exercising their rights. For more information and guidance on how to engage in these efforts, visit the @National Alliance to End Homelessness resource:?https://lnkd.in/gm4SW6n Thank you for your dedication to empowering your clients. Together, we can ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in our democracy.

The votes have been counted, and a new government has been elected. But our ask remains the same?? #MakethistheConvo until everyone has a place to call home. As we welcome the new government, we would like to thank everyone who helped to make ending homelessness a key focus during this election period. We know that homelessness can be ended, and we see hope given to so many people each day. However, unfortunately we’re also seeing record numbers of people in crisis arriving at our door. In 21st-century Britain, it is simply unacceptable that anyone should have to sleep out on our streets. During the election campaign, we outlined the three areas that need to be delivered by whoever won the election, to end homelessness: https://lnkd.in/euvRf8Wc We look forward to working with the new government to bring about the change that is required to achieve our vision of a society where everyone has a place to call home. What we ask from you is simple, continue this important conversation?? #EndingHomelessness #EmergencyOnOurStreets
