We're at #IAC2024 from Oct. 14-18, sharing how we work with our international partners to build sustainability and stronger relations in space exploration through partnerships like the Artemis Accords. At the conference in Milan? Visit our booth (MS-DO5) to meet NASA leadership, hear expert talks, and see a sample of asteroid Bennu. https://lnkd.in/eiTP8Vvf
You need a planetary defense department. This department can reduce the impact of future space events and lower post-disaster repair and reconstruction costs by more than 60-70%. The deflection of high-energy charged particles can be achieved without the need for new equipment. By simply adjusting and modifying parameters on existing satellites, it is possible to significantly reduce the number of particles encountered. My solution: Deflection Angle Formula (for high-energy charged particles): \Delta \theta \approx 35^\circ - 40^\circ Lorentz Force Formula (for charged particles in electromagnetic fields): F = q(E + v \times B) ? F is the force on the particle, ? q is the charge of the particle, ? E is the electric field, ? v is the velocity of the particle, ? B is the magnetic field.
Let me get this right. I make Gravity in a sealed container and NASA has not asked me to speak. https://wardforce.com/i-make-gravity-1
Is the Bennu sample airlocked/encased in glass or something? ?? I would love to see that if I could. Also I’m going to just say that the “Artemis Accords” is such a solid name for what is ??.
Nous sommes tous des gens avec une bonne capacité à observer la nature avec une bonne expérience, une bonne humanité, c'est génial
Did you say work with international partners to build sustainability and stronger relations....? Yes please. Sounds like model practices across any field or domain. Keep up the good work. Shine on! ?????? #thinkgloballyactlocally #NASAleadership
The solar storm of October 2024 has caused significant damage to infrastructure worldwide, with rough estimates indicating that the repair and reconstruction costs could reach tens of billions of dollars. Historically, similar solar storm events have led to losses of billions of dollars, affecting power grids, satellite communication systems, and more. My planetary defense solution, which involves adjusting parameters on existing satellites to deflect high-energy charged particles, would greatly reduce the damage caused by such space events. Based on calculations, the cost of this strategy is significantly lower than post-disaster recovery, and it could reduce repair and reconstruction expenses by 60-70%.
Exciting to see NASA leading the charge in global space collaboration! The Artemis Accords are a great step towards sustainable exploration, and I can’t wait to see what comes next. If you’re at #IAC2024, don’t miss the chance to connect and learn firsthand about the future of space! ?? #Perizer Perizer ComputeSphere Calen360
