World Kindness Day. I certainly haven't been kind to myself (and probably to others either) recently. It's a concept that was strange for me for decades, Hungarian society (when I grew up) was based on punishments, not kindness and compassion. The thing is change can often knock our confidence. Then grief, losing people you've been close to shakes the foundations. Then you can add things like financial anxiety, tight deadlines or extreme deliverables, and then worries in general (thank you, anxiety). Juggling things can cause stress, and with that kindness slowly evaporates. Or this is how I feel right now, anyway. There is only so much meditation and affirmation you can do, and hope that subconsciously it works... It works, right? I'm signing off for the week, trying to find kindness in myself, and joy in the simple things. And remember that sadness, sorrow are valid emotions too (and none of us needs to man up, regardless of gender, age or circumstances). Be brave, don't cry- my landlady told me. But truth is I think it's be brave to cry, and be kind. #MentalHealthAwareness #worklifeBalance #grief #kindness #StopBeforeYouBreak #WorldKindnessDay #MentalHealth

Even a single smile every day we step into the office, a simple "thank you" that we don't take for granted, a coffee offered to a colleague or a transferral of a knowledge can make the difference in a work environment each single day. Companies organizational studies have proved that being gentle at work reduces stress and empowers positivity, commitment and has a positive impact on employees productivity. Being gentle is a choice and requires an everyday effort and even in everyday stress, deadlines and chaos is the right choice to respect ourselves first and the people that surrounds us. LET'S STAY GENTLE! #worldkindnessday #workenvironment #kindnessissthekey #productivity #motivation #positivity #betterworld

When we show kindness to others, we create a positive and supportive environment that can inspire others to do the same. By modelling virtuous behaviour, we can encourage those around us to act with kindness, empathy, and compassion towards others. In this way, kindness can help create a virtuous cycle of positive behaviour, where each act of kindness inspires further acts of kindness and empathy. #WorldKindnessDay #kindnessmatters #kindness #empathy

November 13 is World Kindness Day. We know children’s mental health benefits from positive social connections - which can be created through kindness towards each other. When kindness becomes a habit, it improves mental health by boosting mood, increasing feelings of belonging, reducing anxiety and increasing a child’s self-confidence. Our partners at #KidsMentalHealthFoundation have some insights to help adults share with children how to practice kindness in their lives: https://lnkd.in/gRtgygih

#NationalBlackDogDay is more than a cute post of my little cuddle monster! It’s about commitment, patience, understanding and realising that actually whatever the colour or type of animal, they improve our mental health by giving us daily exercise, fresh air, space to think, joy and unconditional love???? Although this one’s pretty crazy and sometimes tests our patience, but then after a cuddle it’s all forgotten! ?? Show me the last photo of your pooch (whatever it’s colour)??
