The inroads AI has made and will continue to scale in the talent acquisition process are influencing many employers to increase their emphasis on the soft skills a potential executive hire brings to the table. These often include effective communication in the context of leadership culture, relationship building, learning agility, adaptability, emotional IQ, etc. What we have seen over the years is that many of our clients don't realize these soft skills are coachable. Given that, we place a lot of emphasis on understanding and defining leadership culture at search inception and once complete we provide executive coaching to the chosen professional for several months to ensure integration with leadership culture which almost always includes coaching up the soft skills ensuring the chosen candidate gets closer to the "ideal" candidate profile. An added benefit of our coaching is the positive impact it has on retention which to many CEO's and hiring authorities is more of a concern than the ability to attract top talent. #leadershipdevelopment#executivesearch

Succession Planning was one of the first projects I worked on, for two clients at the same time. One taught me the theory behind why it is required to what are the consequences of not having a successor in place in times of crisis, to how to identify our successors. The Second taught me the practical part of how to identify successors, what should be the baseline for it, and lastly how to train them to be ready for taking up the said roles. And K Srini was patient with teaching me each step and guiding me in understanding the concepts from the crux of it. It feels great to have been a part of such a project, see the science behind it, and see the results in the form of its implementation and consequences.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been a few months since I took the leap into the world of HR consulting. Time has flown by, and what a journey it’s been! When I first started, I knew the road ahead would be challenging—but also rewarding. What I didn’t fully anticipate was just how much I would learn, not only about talent acquisition, talent management, and coaching but about myself and the people I work with. Every day brings new insights, new challenges, and, most importantly, new opportunities to help others grow. One of the things I love most about my work is the constant reminder that business success is deeply connected to the people within it. It’s not just about finding the right candidates or developing leadership programs—it’s about fostering an environment where people feel valued, empowered, and motivated to be their best selves. A few months in, I’m starting to see the impact of small changes: a hiring process that’s more inclusive, a leadership training that inspires confidence, a coaching session that sparks new perspectives. These moments, no matter how small, are what make the work so meaningful. I’m still learning, still growing, but every step of this journey has reinforced my belief in the power of people. Helping businesses and individuals align and thrive together is what gets me excited to wake up each day.
