Worst happened…… and I could do nothing. This happened on my holiday mode last to last week. I am Rajendra, and I come from the vibrant town of Rajgarh in #Churu, #Rajasthan. This morning, I had an enlightening conversation with my father about my upcoming trip to Gurgaon, approximately 200 km away. I needed to complete this trip and then make my way back home. Due to a #disability in my leg, I typically travel by car to avoid the challenges of public transport. However, my father offered some valuable #advice: to save fuel and use resources consider taking the train instead. He suggested that upon reaching Gurgaon, I should use bike taxis, which would not only save money but also support #LocalEntrepreneurs in the bike taxi sector. These thoughts may seem simple, but we city commuters know how comfort has consumed us. This conversation resonated deeply with me, as it reflects the core values of culture—optimizing( Famous in rajasthani culture #kanjusi=#Optimization) all available resources. By making small adjustments, we can achieve greater efficiency and support our communities. Why do people say, 'If you don't travel, you know only one page of a whole book'? . . . . Spending a week in Shimla gave me a different perspective on life. Coming from a small town in Bihar and living in the busy city of Gurgaon, Shimla felt like a whole new world. During my time there, I noticed how people in Shimla have a slower pace of life compared to what I'm used to. They seem more in tune with nature and less rushed by the demands of modern life. The daily routines of the people in Shimla revolve around the mountains and the weather. They adapt to the changing seasons and embrace the simplicity of mountain living. From chatting with locals to observing their daily activities, I gained a deeper understanding of the close-knit community and strong connection to the land that define life in Shimla. This experience gave me a different insight into the way people live and interact in different environments. It's a reminder to appreciate the beauty of simplicity and the importance of living in harmony with nature. Moreover, I realized why people say, "If you don't travel, you only know one page of a whole book." Weekend Read If you know someone who is planning a trip to Sri Rama Janmabhoomi kshetra, Ayodhya, then this article might be of use to them. Long post alert. I was amazed with the retail and F&B opportunities at this tiny town, which is expected to garner a lot of attention economically, from Indians as well as NRIs. The airport is currently handling around 2,000 passengers per day and has a total capacity to manage 10 lakh passengers pa. To give a perspective, New Delhi Airport manages over 55 lakh passengers a year, Mumbai 50 lakhs and Bangalore 30 lakhs. However, it is going to be the rail and road traffic which will matter the most. While not a single 4/5 star accomodation is ready yet in the town, there are atleast 2,000 rooms across various price bands, from INR 1,000 per night to INR 5,000 per night which are already available. In no time, the economic activities in and around Ayodhya will drive consumption, making the locals prosperous, self-sufficient and richer.
