TWO TYPES OF INNOVATION Radical/disruptive innovation. Incrememtal innovation. Radical/disruptive innovation means that you're bringing something entirely new into the marketplace. You're coming to change the way things are done in an industry. The last decade has seen lots of radical innovation. Uber, Jumia, Netflix, ChatGpt, just name it. These guys came in with disruption. To upset the global/regional business landscape. Incremental disruption is simply building on already existing technologies. Tiktok was not disruptive. It was simply incremental Dear business people, by all means, INNOVATE. whether on a disruptive or incremental plane. That's what will help you build sustainability into your business. That Nubank and Uber have been and are disruptive in the market… is well known. But last week, at uber tech event, it was cool to realize that there are still more similarities: PS: All observations below are public. *Mexico*: Both companies are currently leveraging their Mexican sectors, with market challenges and achievements. *Business accounts*: Nubank has already reached 4 million business customers. Uber also operates in business accounts, for example, with U4B, a feature for managing food and employee trips. *Geographic specifics*: At Nubank, everything is designed with the customer in mind, and being global, the region's particularities help us create precise features. In the Uber app, geofencing is used so that polygons help with improving delivery for local restrictions. Tech community is always awesome on sharing insights among us.
