Why am I not a good marketer? ? Ever since I was a kid, I knew staying in one place wasn’t for me. I needed more. I tried everything: football, drawing, dancing, boxing - you name it. ? That same restless energy fuels my career in marketing.? ? I started with social media, but I got bored quickly.? So, I dove into any tool I could get my hands on.? Email marketing, paid ads, SEO and so on. ? I used to think that to be truly skilled, I needed to specialize in something specific.? ? But then it hit me - being versatile is my superpower in this field. ? Why? Because marketing isn’t just about mastering one channel; it’s about creating synergy. ? For businesses, hiring someone with a wide-ranging skill set means: More tools in the toolbox = more effective campaigns. Testing multiple hypotheses = unstoppable growth. And personally, it’s a win too. You get to talk shop with different experts and always stay ahead of the curve. ? So, if you’re someone who loves juggling all the marketing tools - don’t sweat it. It’s not just okay; it’s actually pretty awesome!

If you are wondering about hiring a marketing agency, read this. You might have been approached recently by a marketing agency promising you loads of new students, and you might be very tempted by their offer, but are some red flags to look out for when hiring them: Making massive promises: If they promise loads of students in a short timeframe e.g. 70 students in 90 days, but they can’t provide evidence that they can fulfil that guarantee, then don’t hire them. They take ages to launch: If they take 3 weeks or more to set up all your ads and launch them, it proves that they don’t know what they are doing. Asking for low ad spend: If they are asking for less than $25 a day on ad spend it is a red flag because anything less than that will get you <1 lead per day from facebook?meaning over time facebook will raise your costs. Using stock / ai images: If they use stock or ai generated images for your ad creatives it shows they are more invested in their own profits than yours since they are very easy to create, but they don’t get very good results. So in summary, if you are looking for a marketing agency make sure to look out for these red flags. Hope you found this post useful or interesting! Have a good day??

Marketing Strategy: Why Settle for Anything Less? I regularly hear among small business owners: "Marketing doesn't work!" But after closer inspection, the missing ingredient often seems to be a solid strategy ???. After all, the name itself says it all - strategy is a deliberate plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. ?? While some may resort to last-minute campaigns in exceptional circumstances, true marketing success requires foresight. Ideally, you should be laying the groundwork for your marketing efforts at least 6 months in advance. I recently worked with a client who hired a photographer??, posting stunning images on social media, and enlisting influencers to tout their product. Despite these efforts, they fell short of their growth expectations. This led me to ask just a few questions: - How are your Google reviews stacking up? - Are you regularly updating your Google My Business profile to stay relevant? - Have you tapped into the power of email marketing to reconnect with past clients? - Is your social media truly fostering engagement and interaction? - Are your customers so delighted that they become brand ambassadors? - Have you laid out a strategic plan for holiday and celebration promotions? - Are all these elements seamlessly integrated and working together towards a common goal? …… Marketing can be immensely effective, but it requires dedication and strategic planning! Let's elevate our marketing efforts by sharing insights and best practices. After all, success shared is success multiplied! ?

Marketing Fools You. Part 2 --------------------------------------------- A cool business model in a few steps. 1> Create a youtube channel, start selling a future that is beyond 10 years and create a fan base with a lot and lot of paid marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Irritate people with ads and shorts. There are a lot of marketing agencies that have readymade bots to help you. 2> Master the art of convincing but mind you there is no risk of commitment here. If you are not getting the confidence follow a godman. They have done it for years in a different context. It's all going to happen after at least 10 years from now ?? 3> Do this for a few years and then reach out to an investor, show him your fan base and get investments to start the business of selling courses and community subscriptions. Sorry ??, start with Master Classes. You already have a fan base who are proven fools to pay for your super cool classes. Wow !! you are doing good. 4> Now create a start-up and hire people. There are a lot of fools in the aspiring job market who will be ready to get hired. But soon realise that every business survives based on the model of repeatability of customers which you forgot to take into consideration during your business planning. Now it's time to start firing. Whose fault was that ? Ohh no you were learning. Afterall you are in your 20s with 30 years of experience of running a business. My dear young talents, I know the hunt for a job is not easy but at the same time wasting your time on a wrong job is more scary, which shakes your confidence. Please do your homework before you sign up. Stop following these influencers. Do understand that influencing is a business and you are the customer.

There’s this ongoing debate in marketing—should you be a specialist or a generalist? I think both have their place. Depending on what stage a business is in, they’ll need one or the other, maybe even both at the same time. From what I’ve seen in my own career, a lot of clients lean towards hiring generalists because it’s more “cost-effective.” They’d rather pay one person to handle all the marketing instead of building a team, even if the results aren’t as sharp. Here’s the kicker: as a generalist, you end up with more work and less pay. And honestly, you can’t love every corner of marketing. You won’t always have that curiosity or drive to improve in areas you don’t feel passionate about. That’s why I made my choice—I’ve niched down to paid ads. And now, I’m thinking of going even deeper into e-commerce or lead generation. It’s tough because I love some parts of each and hate others, but my background in sales helps me really get lead gen. I understand what happens after that lead hits the website, and that’s where the fun starts. Curious—are you a specialist or a generalist? Would love to hear your thoughts. #PPC #SpecialistVsGeneralist #PaidAds #LeadGen #DigitalMarketing #Freelancer
