February 28th is Rare Disease Day. Recently, My Hero 360 spoke with Craig Leppert, founder of Shadow Jumpers. Craig lives with a rare painful sun-related condition called Erythropoietic Protoporphyria (EPP). The genetic condition is marked by an intense reaction to sunlight and other lights, challenging this Los Angeles-based founder to live purposefully while remaining mindful of sun and light exposure. A disease is considered rare if less than 200,000 people are affected by the disease, and there are more than 7,000 rare diseases in the world.??
