Gratitude, in its truest form, isn’t something we express just occasionally. It’s a constant presence in our lives, even when we forget it amid the chaos of daily routines. But if we stop for a moment, we realize just how blessed we are. Think about it: if we have family, we’re blessed with love ??. If we have friends, we’re surrounded by support ??. If we have food, we have our basic needs met ???. These simple things are often overlooked, but not everyone is so fortunate. There’s a story of a man burdened by his own worries, who came across a hungry child on his walk. Without hesitation, he shared what little food he had. He couldn’t solve all the child’s problems, but that small act of kindness filled his heart in a way nothing else had. In helping others, he found peace that transcended his own struggles. True gratitude extends beyond recognition—it moves us to act. Even the smallest gestures of kindness make a difference. Whether it’s sharing a meal, offering a listening ear, or helping a stranger, these actions connect us to something greater. So, remember your blessings ??. And when you find someone in need, give what you can, because in giving, we receive the deepest fulfillment. Life is measured not by what we have, but by the positive impact we leave on others. #Gratitude #CountYourBlessings #GiveBack #SpreadKindness #Fulfillment Thank you credits Mike Rubin, MD, PhD, CFA for the inspiration. This is what it looks like… …that is, gratitude, in its purest form. We all have a profound sense that we are deeply fortunate to have so many blessings in our life, yet- From moment to moment we forget, and are overcome by other less salient and trenchant matters. If we have family If we have friends If we have food We are blessed. And if we find that others are not blessed with this good fortune, and we make some gesture… …however modest, to help them, we shall find fulfillment in that which transcends most other pursuits. ?? Wishing all a weekend of insight and contentment.

I’ve made many mistakes on my path, but within those mistakes lie the seeds of wisdom, lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. One of the most transformative qualities one can embody is #Gratitude. Gratitude opens the door to seeing life not as something happening to you, but as something happening for you. It teaches you to flow through life with grace. It grants you the clarity to honour and witness each experience as a sacred step in your journey. When you master the art of gratitude, you come to a profound realisation: Life is you. It has always been you. Let gratitude guide you to that truth.

There is a poetic analogy that speaks to both who we are and how we are - as people and leaders.?It is called "What's in your cup?" and it shows that, if we don't work on ourselves and find peace within ourselves, the non-peace will come out during hardships or challenges.?Here it is: ? You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee?? "Because someone bumped into me!!!" Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.? Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out. Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled. So, we have to ask ourselves... “What's in my cup?" When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?? Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions? Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today, let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.?

In every step of life, gratitude and humility are powerful tools. Embrace the simple, beautiful words "Please, sorry, Thank you" - and let them guide your interactions. Appreciate those around you, especially your team, and show kindness even when it’s hard. Remember your purpose and stay on your path, no matter the discouragements. Respect may not come immediately, but with consistency, it will come-strong and lasting. “Walk your path with gratitude and humility, and let your actions speak. Respect follows those who honor others along the way.” Keep going, trust in yourself, and let gratitude light the journey. #Gratitude #StayHumble #PurposeDriven #LeadWithRespect #LongTermSuccess

Count It all Joy We must learn, no matter what we are going through, we should consider it joyful, because each trial and tribulation is a test of our faith. Joy is the second fruit of the spirit that we forget about sometimes however, joy is a mood for believers that is not caused by material things but an extreme happiness as a benefit from God. James 1:2-4 says, “My brothers count it all joy, when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, but let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing.” This is the main reason we should have joy because at the end of our lifetime, we will not have need for anything. Joy is different from happy, happy is an emotion or sense of excitement. Joy on the other hand is a state of being, characterized by contentment and stability with life or placement with God. Joy doesn’t come with a new car, house, clothes or diamond rings. Joy can’t be bought. Joy is developed through the fruit of the spirit from test and trials, only then can we count it all joy, because we have discovered joy in difficult times. Sincerely, #jesuslovesyou #peoplefirst #leadership

"Together, let’s deepen our experience of gratitude. Let’s intentionally pull back the curtain of transient things to gaze with deliberation upon spiritual reality. For these things cannot be shaken and cannot be altered." Check out this new blog post entitled "ROCK SOLID GRATITUDE: It's About Where I Look" by Rebekah Norman.
