How to tell a genius story? ?????????? I don't drink but now I'm aware, share, like and talk about Ricky Gervais's Dutch Barn. Why? It's honest (watch till the end ??), short, funny, simple and frankly...genius. And let's be honest, I'm Ricky's big fan. Recently had very interesting conversations and the sentiments we all agreed on are: 1. Linked in posts are starting to look all the same, long, ChatGPT curated, boring and lacking authenticity. We don't engage as we used to. 2. Instagram ads are popping and it seems like every few posts look the same. The algorithm is algorithming too much. 3. It's hard to focus on anything longer than few seconds because of how our brains got into 'novelty mode' and it's not easy to rewire it back. Met a founder who helps creators with large audiences, like one with 7 million followers, understand their audience's pain points and build products for them. I love this business model for several reasons. The main one is baked-in distribution. The larger and more engaged the audience of the creator, the simpler it is to sell products to them. The challenge is knowing what the audience wants.
